Promotions

This page shows you how to promote your products and grow your sales. Featured products appear in a special section on the home screen that all customers see. This gives your products more visibility.

How It Works

  1. Choose a product you want to promote
  2. Pay a featured fee of 100 ETB per product
  3. Your product appears in the Featured section for a set period
  4. Customers see your product before regular search results

Feature a Product

On the web dashboard:
  1. Log in to the Seller Dashboard
  2. Click Promotions in the left menu
  3. Click Add Featured Product
  4. Choose the product from your inventory
  5. Confirm the payment (100 ETB)
  6. Complete the payment through Chapa
  7. Your product is now featured
On mobile:
  1. Open the PharmaNet app with your pharmacy account
  2. Go to your Products list
  3. Tap the product you want to feature
  4. Tap Boost or Feature
  5. Follow the payment steps

  1. Go to Promotions
  2. You will see a list of your currently featured products
  3. Each shows:
    • Product name
    • Date it was featured
    • How long it will be featured
    • Number of views or clicks (if available)

Product Boosting

Product boosting is similar to featuring but gives your product priority in search results. When a customer searches for a medicine, boosted products appear higher in the list.

Boost a Product

  1. Go to Promotions → Boost Product
  2. Select the product
  3. Choose the boost duration:
    • One-time boost — appears at the top for a day
    • Subscription boost — appears at the top for a month
  4. Complete the payment
  5. Your product is now boosted

Tips for Promotions

  • Feature your best sellers — promote products that already sell well
  • Feature new products — help customers discover them
  • Feature seasonal products — cold and flu medicines during flu season
  • Use clear photos — good product photos attract more customers
  • Set competitive prices — featured products are seen by more customers
Tip: Promotions are a great way to stand out from other pharmacies and attract new customers.
