Chat with Customers

This page shows you how to use the chat feature to communicate with customers.

Why Chat Matters

Customers often have questions before they buy:
  • Is this medicine in stock?
  • Do I need a prescription?
  • How long will delivery take?
Answering quickly helps you make more sales and build trust.

View Your Chats

On mobile:
  1. Open the PharmaNet app and log in with your pharmacy account
  2. Tap the Chats tab
  3. You will see a list of your conversations:
    • Active Now — customers currently chatting with you
    • Recent Messages — your recent conversations
    • Each conversation shows the customer’s name, last message, and time

On the web dashboard:
  1. Log in to the Seller Dashboard
  2. Click Chats in the left menu
  3. See your conversations in a similar layout

Read and Reply to Messages

  1. Tap a conversation to open it
  2. Read the customer’s message
  3. Type your reply in the text box at the bottom
  4. Tap the send icon (paper plane) to send
You can also send images:
  1. Tap the image icon next to the text box
  2. Select a photo from your computer or phone
  3. The image will be sent with your message

How Customers Start Chats

Customers can start a chat with you from:
  • Your pharmacy page — they tap Chat
  • A product page — they ask about a specific product
  • An order page — they ask about their order
When a customer sends a message, you will receive a notification.

Chat Settings

  1. Go to SettingsChat Settings
  2. You can manage:
    • Notifications — choose whether to get notified for new messages
    • Auto-reply — set an automatic reply for when you are away
    • Privacy — control who can message you

Tips for Good Customer Service

  • Reply quickly — customers appreciate fast answers
  • Be helpful — answer questions clearly and honestly
  • Be professional — use polite language
  • Share photos — send pictures of products if customers ask
  • Stay in touch — follow up after delivery to make sure everything is okay
Tip: Use chat to build relationships with your customers. Happy customers come back and recommend your pharmacy to others.
